so tell me whats the point of taking you on
its safe to say that you are everything I'm not
our situation leaves me bruised and broken
but old temptations keep on sucking me in
you're my medication, my spark to creation
my sole inspiration for the obvious reasons
the reason why I cant hold back any longer
you're a monster, you're a monster

I know, I know this time I'll make it on my own so here I go
wanna search for something more, something else worth fighting for
I know, I know this time I'll make it on my own so here I go
wanna search for something so much more, something else worth fighting for

you know, you know you've got a hold on me
you're wrapped around my world so inconspicuously
this situation's left me bruised and broken
bound by the upperhand, over and over again
so pardon me for this interjection,
your intention of deception is the last thing that I need
in fact, it's killing me, it's killing me

I know, I know this time I'll make it on my own so here I go
wanna search for something more, something else worth fighting for
I know, I know this time I'll make it on my own so here I go
wanna search for something so much more, something else worth fighting for

General Commenti think that this song is about a guy who realy likes this girl, she keeps hurting him in the worst ways but "old temptations keep on sucking me in" she is one person in his life that he cant let go of, she is his everything, but she keeps hurting him so bad, [your a monster, your a monster] he cant hold back anymore and he finally takes a stand, this time it will be different, he is going out in the world to search for something that is worth fighting for, just like in the lyrics. its basically the hole song, just herr always tempting him to come back to her no matter how bad she is to him; he takes a stand and he is done with her for good.
