I realize that some parts are difficult to hear, however, that doesnt mean you can just post whatever you THINK the lyrics are. As long as it's been since you posted your comment, I wanted to say something. I see no errors in the lyrics you provided. And, in fact, the lyrics I have for them are exactly the same.<br /> <br /> It is a really wonderful song. And you're right, the lyrics really do speak for themselves.<br /> <br /> @ smashingxUrxface: I really don't see what your problem is. Nothing's wrong with the lyrics that TwilightPaladin posted. And even if some of it was off, it's an honest mistake that comes with listening to a song and copying down what you hear. Sometimes, you just don't hear exactly what's said and you get a word wrong.<br /> <br /> I distinctly see an apology from Twilight for any errors in the lyrics. Gia,<br /> I see where I was being ridiculous and over-reactive, but honestly, I think TwiligtPaladin was being arrogant and uncaring about whether he got the lyrics right or wrong. I had been searching for the real lyrics, and found these with the belief that they were correct, so finding out they weren’t ticked me off.<br /> TwilightPaladin’s apology is like those ones you get from noisy neighbors who party all night and promise not to play music at 2 o’clock in the morning anymore. I'd like to lead off by saying that this is the first I've seen these comments, and I apologize for making you wait for a response.<br /> <br /> That being said, I would like to restate my apology by messing up the lyrics. At the time I transcribed them, I was unable to find the actual lyrics anywhere. Having purchased the album on iTunes, I didn't have a lyrics booklet to go by. Therefore, I had no other option but to attempt to transcribe them by ear. My intent was not to come off as a smart ass or a brain-washer or anything of the sort. I was merely more concerned at the time with being as accurate as I could, and then posting the results so that people could be aware the songs existed. I should've phrased my initial apology a little better, perhaps, but hindsight is 20/20.<br /> <br /> I've recently found another lyrics database that contained the lyrics for this song and went back and corrected not only this song, but the other ones that you commented on. Again, I apologize for taking so long to do so, but it had slipped my mind, considering I had and continue to have other responsibilities that take priority over the accuracy of the lyrics of songs I enjoy listening to.<br /> <br /> Now that I've apologized and fixed the errors, get back to 4chan where you belong, you piece of shit. I am very glad that you changed all the lyrics, Im sure that it was probably annoying and a hassle but it was totally worth it and I thank you very much. I really admire this band and I didn’t want people learning the lyrics wrong like I had before. Eyeshine doesn’t deserve to have people start singing lyrics that are incorrect.<br /> <br /> As for your apology, I appreciate that you took the time to say it, but I still don’t understand why you would post lyrics in the first place when you yourself were unsure if they were correct (as you stated in your last response, since you obviously wouldn’t have tried to find the lyrics if you actually knew what they were). And it was consciously done, not mistakenly. People look to these websites to find clarity with songs that are difficult to understand, and trust that they are correct. If you don’t know the lyrics, don’t post them. I don’t give two shakes of a boggarts tail if you thought your lyrics were right, because they weren’t. So please don’t ever do that again. Just keep your interpretation to yourself like everyone else does.
