"One Reason" as written by and Fletcher Dragge Byron Mcmackin....
You take the best away
From me then give it all away
You can't control yourself
For anyone
Don't think that you could ever see
That things are not the same
You can't control yourself
For anything

Give me one reason to stop your fall (Yeah yeah yeah)
Give me one reason to Answer Your call (Yeah yeah yeah)
Give me one reason why I should care at all

Don't think you could understand
But logic rips away
The mask that you put on
For everyone
You feel it slipping from your hands
Still you manipulate
You can't control yourself
For Anything

Give me one reason to stop your fall (Yeah yeah yeah)
Give me one reason to Answer Your call (Yeah yeah yeah)
Give me one reason why I should care at all

Let someone look inside at what's
Behind the mask where you hide
A mixture of pain and pride the real
You that's been Denied

Won't you give me one reason? [Repeat: x 3]

Give me one reason to stop your fall (Yeah yeah yeah)
Give me one reason to Answer Your call (Yeah yeah yeah)
Give me one reason why I should care at all

General CommentI like this song, the heavy part is awesome !
It's nice to hear some fresh meat from Pennywise !!!

    I can't tell what's it's about, a relationship or the government ? Someone has a clue ?

General CommentI relate it to a couple friends I have that are messing up their lives and relationships. Others of us have been trying for so long to help them out that we're completely fed up with them, and now we're asking for just one reason to keep trying to help them... or even be their friend.

He also talks about putting on a mask to hide a mix of pain and pride. Seems like he's saying this person is putting on a stone face so no one really knows what's going on with them.

I don't know if that's what the song is really about, but that is a clear picture in my mind when hearing this song.

General CommentIt's a lot like other punk rock band songs. You begin to question why you are helping someone that always takes advantage of you and/or keeps fucking up

General CommentIn the context of the album it seems pretty clear this song is about religion. No religion in particular, any of those bags of lies.
