I’m done. I’m done with this!
Oh Son, expose my weakness
with the daylight you bring
that’s bright enough to kill this grey.

woah, we're dancing on the fence
we're losing innocence
but we can't expect to live like this forever.

what do i say? how do i explain this grey?
It weighs heavy on the brains of those who i love
and those who keep the faith
when I know there's just one way

woah we're dancing on the fence
we're losing innocence
but we can't expect to live like this forever

woah, we're dancing on the fence.
were losing innocence,
but we can't expect to live like this forever!
we weren't made to live like this, no never!

we try to come as close as we can to what we can't and not get caught.
but instead, let's turn and run,
towards the light!

woah, we're dancing on the fence
woah we're losing innocence
we can't expect to live like this forever!

woah, we're dancing on the fence
woah, we're losing innocence
but we weren't made to live like this
no never!

    Well,
I think it's about when you live your life for God but there are still some aspects of your life that keep holding you back. Like, for example, you go out and get drunk some night. Your living half you life on one side of the fence (with God) and the other half on the bad side of the fence where you do things wrong and you're loosing innocense.
In the song he's had enough of messing up and going over to the bad side of the fence every now and again, so he's asking God to "expose my weakness" and make it alll gooood. (:

Dude, i ramble on and that probably didn't make sense. But oh well.
