"Aurora" as written by Vincent Heimann, Andrew Szekeres and Daniel Stricker....
Hideaway
Find a way
To hide away
Turn the page
Or fade away

All we need
Finally
Will come to me
Dawn will rise
Eventually

Oh, sun
Shines its light
On the streets again
As the day
Burns its way
Back to life

Searching for
Something more
A brighter day
Broken dreams
Are washed away

Signs of life
Stars up high
Drift throughout the night
Time stands still
But years pass by

Oh, sun
Shines its light
On the streets again
As the day
Burns its way
Back to life

Sun
Circles up high again
Sun
Lights up the skies again

Here we come
Flags will fly again
So we run
Through the fires again

General Commentmy my no comments on any of the songs at all?
This band is truly superbly underrated.

Aurora is a beautiful picture, good song mhm.

General CommentWar of the worlds-like alien invasion theory: I think this is part 12 (part 1 being 'intro', part 5 being 'scorpius' and part 7 being 'nine lives')

They've landed on another planet now. Talks about the sun rising and a new day, a brighter day. Means getting over the 'darkness and night' of the alien invasion.

General CommentSorry Songmeaning1, but your interpretation is a stretch. This song seems to be about humanity hiding out from the destruction that has blasted the world. And it's happening ON EARTH.

    Oh Sun
    Shines its light
    On the streets again

No alien planet is going to have the Sun shining on its streets, is it?

    Time stands still
    But years pass by

This seems to be about a space ship contemplating the rise of mankind from the ashes of a once glorious society. Aliens have nothing to do with our destruction. At least, the lyrics don't seem to indicate it.

    Here we come
    Flags will fly again
    So we run
    Through the fires again

But to what end will we again aspire? Destruction again?
