Changing Skies

1st Verse: Looked out my window tonight. Into the cloud hidden sky and I proclaimed it to be mine and then I knew I’d be bringing home to you. They all say that I’m crazy, to get up and leave just like that, but I told ‘em it’s just four thousand miles and I was willing to do that.

Chorus: I…I’m bringing home to you cause you’re the only home to me and me to you so I…I’m changing skies for you. I’m facing a world that I never even knew.

2nd Verse: Packed all my bags tonight. Never been more sure of anything in my life. Put my heart in a suitcase left my tears at the door. No more crying for me anymore. Cause you know I know it’s hard to part. That’s why I’m breaking these chains of my lonely heart.

Chorus: “”

Bridge: Now this journey takes us on, incredible countless acts together and trading in the loss we bared for a life long trip forever and ever and ever.

Chorus: “”

3rd Verse: Left behind my skies tonight. So few stars yet they shined bright saying goodbye to you, and I said Love I’ll be seeing you soon.

My InterpretationI think this song is saying that she is going to travel to wherever the love of her life is. She's probably in a different time zone than he is and she is going to "change skies" to get him back. (Different times=different the morning there is a sunrise whereas in the afternoon it's blue and at night it's black/dark blue.) In the first verse she's thinking about going to meet him somewhere even though it's four thousand miles away from where she currently is. The chorus says that no matter where she is even if she is at home, she really isn't because he isn't there with her and he is home to her. I might be wrong about this song but that's how I interpreted it. It could probably also be about music and her dream to be an artist rather than a guy.
