"A Bag of Marbles" as written by Brian Mcternan, Nicholas Ray Maldonado, Marc Christopher Kohlbry, Tanner Lee Sparks, Chad Daniel Ackerman and Duane David Reed....
Give me one reason and I'll give you more. It seems I'm not what she was looking for. I was waiting for something. I found that it's nothing. Never act that way (and then let's talk about growing old).

Never say those things boy (and forget all you know). You will love this pain.
(You've got nowhere to go), and you will play her games. And do what you're told.
I'll be happy with or without you. You make your choices and become what you choose.

Break an organ that's mended, and fake who you're in love with. Tell me that "Distance is why we fight. Though you're not like other guys, everything that I say is right." Tell me that "I hate and I envy your God. Life is a meaningless song. Hope and true love have gone."

I'll never act that way (and then let's talk about growing old) I'll never play your games girl (I am letting go). You're not what I need (Now I really see), and you are what I leave. I have never felt this free.

General CommentA person being in love with someone then finding out that it wasn't what they thought.

Ends with the person finally realizing what has been happening and getting over the person.

General CommentIt almost seems that the girl in the song is making excuse why the break up needs to happen. Like distance, a jealousy of the singer's religion or relationship with God, among others. I don't think the girl was atheist, but that could be part of why they break up.
