"Hideaway" as written by Henry William Harrison, William Rees, Kai Fish, Kapil Trivedi and Steven Blaine Harrison....
I've been running around, running around
Don't make a sound, don't want to get found
I've been hiding behind the blinds
But in my mind I don't want to be that kind of guy

Running around, running around
Don't make a sound, don't want to get found
I've been hiding behind the blinds
But in my mind I don't want to be that kind of guy

Undercover lover took a record off the stack
Undercover lover left his parker on the rack
Undercover lover left a tyre mark on the track
Undercover lover took a feather from my hat
Undercover lover cut a key to the flat
Undercover lover twist a knife in my back
Undercover lover maybe doesn't know that
Undercover lover left a rubber in the sack

Hideaway, hideaway, hideaway, hideaway
Hideaway, hideaway, hideaway, hideaway

Darlin’ we've got to talk
I feel like a whore, taking the back door
Things have got to change
I don't want to blacken my name or be to blame

Darlin’, we've got to talk
I feel like a whore, taking the back door
Things have got to change
I don't want to blacken my name or be to blame

Undercover lover's been playing my 45s
Undercover lover's been at my cherry pie
Undercover lover's been grooming my bride
Undercover lover's got you batting both sides
Undercover lover's going to put me inside
Undercover lover's got it right between the eyes
Undercover lover is in for a surprise, cos’
undercover lover left a rubber in my ride

Hideaway, hideaway, hideaway, hideaway
Hideaway, hideaway, hideaway, hideaway

Hideaway, hideaway, hideaway, hideaway
Hideaway, hideaway, hideaway, hideaway

General Commenti thought it was "a rubber in the sack/my ride" as in a condom, not a robber.

i'm guessing it's about cheating. this one guy is sleeping with someone's wife and he's feeling a bit guilty, and the "undercover lover" bits are the wife's husband, who's found out (due to all the evidence left!) and is evidently pissed off.

General CommentYeah it's about he knows he's being cheated on but he's too embarrassed to say anything.

General CommentCome on genius, he's the one she's cheating on someone with and he feels guilty. What I want to know is who it was.
