On your bended knees, you look so sweet
It's time to pray again
By the light of my 10" TV, it's time to pray again
When it hurts and tears come, I'd like to taste them
Salted sadness rolls from a heart that begs for what can never be given
Now it's time to pray again
Now it's time to pray
Do your knees hurt yet?
Like the rest, you think you can touch me inside? Ha ha ha ha ha!
How does your mother pray? How does your sister pray?
I will tell you all the words to say...
Believe in nothing

Jump through walls, the working class
Smash their futures, get them out of my class
Send them up, crucifix, a model to redenelix
And cancer above our sky

Death of love three times a night
Tears from us start running down cheeks without compassion
We've all been called beautiful

Beautiful lies
Open your eyes

Lugatracks buy, sell and destroy
Wrecking peoples' lives like children's toys
Conorended violation, that makes up our generation
Watching the movie every day
Don't believe a word they say

Sadly like a vulture's free
Cannonballs of our tortury
We've all been called beautiful

Beautiful lies
Open your eyes

A little cleaner every day
Trust a friend and then betray
Not stand your high and cultures' dictates
And for their wreckings every fucking day

We've all been called beautiful
Beautiful lies
Open your eyes

Lies!

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
