"When I Needed You" as written by and Daniel Robert/coombes Goffey....
Ever wondered how we all get through
Maybe someone's watching over you
All the shit that we face everyday
It somehow works itself out anyway
In the back of a stolen car
Doing 80 with the headlights off
It's when I needed you

Ever wondered how we all get through
Maybe someone's watching over you
When the ground is falling fast beneath
You somehow find yourself back on your feet
In the middle of a shady bar
Broken bottles flying through the air
It's when I needed you

Out of my sorrows
Living out hollow still
I look through old photos
For hours and hours
In the back of a stolen car
Doing 80 with the headlights off
It's when I needed you
It's when I needed you

Ever wondered how we all get through
Maybe someone's watching over you
All the shit that we face everyday
It somehow works itself out anyway
In the back of a stolen car
Doing 80 with the headlights off
It's when I needed you
It's when I needed you

General CommentTo me this song probably holds more than the usual "relationship" aspect that most people might associate it with, as in : Story of a guy who hits bottom ,thinks about a current/ ex girlfriend when he's at his lowest (in the shady bar and having a suicidal drive in his car) and in that context might think "Thats when I needed You"....INSTEAD, I'd rather think of it as a song dedicated to whatever 'entity' is out there watching your back. Call it God, Guardian Angel or just sheer luck.

BTW, really thought their songs would have more comments!
