    he never sings "But I," so if you can you could omit that. Anyway this is obviously about a burglar breaking and entering into someone's house, carrying a weapon. The "Stabbed in the heart" could be literal as in the singer was wounded and is on his way to death, or someone was betraying and backstabbing the singer. i love this band haha

    Yeah, I agree about the breaking and entering thing, but the line right before the bridge "you will remember some of it, but if you solve it, you will remember all of it" (epic epic stuff) is kind of confusing me. Almost makes it seem like some kind of murder mystery, and also like there's more to the lyrics.

    General CommentIt makes me think a bit of a murder mystery type thing, too. As if he's retelling the story of his own death by a burglar, or rather, the "creeper". It's chilling. Such a good song, though.

    General Commentyeah Sam i heard this on their myspace, i cant stop listening to it haha. i agree with you both, it seems like there's something mysterious and epic behind the lyrics. Maybe he is trying to solve his own murder-right from the start he was stabbed and begins to die. The room is dark so he can't see who the "creeper" is.

    "Hey, you will remember some of it..." im still not sure if that word at the beginning is HEY. your guess is as good as mine. sounds like the word ends in a D. lol, either way good stuff.

    General CommentIs it just me, or does the latest album sound a lot, lot more like their Unicorns stuff than Return To The Sea? This whole album so far has been much more like a non lo-fi Who Will Cut Our Hair. Not necessarily a good or bad thing, I'm just sayin'!

    General CommentI can't be the only who sees that this probably has nothing to do with burglary. To me, it sounds like betrayal in a relationship.

    I doubt any self respecting artist would choose "stabbed in the heart" to imply a literal stabbing.

    Sounds like his defenses were up, but they didn't suffice... perhaps this means that the scenario left him so distraught that he was left listless.

    This could easily be about an affair. He didn't know it was happening. (didn't know he wasn't breathing)
