"Tangerine" as written by and Klara Maria Sderberg....
Another buisness trip
Another reason to stay away
You're coming home on monday, smelling Tangerine

They say that I should leave you
Yeah, go and find someone new
Who doesn't love a girl that smells like Tangerine

I'm not going to beg just say please, please, please
Be good to me

This happens to all of us
Apparently I'm not good enough
I can't make you laugh like Tangerine

And you say; "but I'm still here,
that proves that I love you dear"
Late at night you come home smelling Tangerine

I'm not going to beg just say please, please, please
Be good to me

General CommentAH! This took quite some time, but I believe I've figured out what this song is all about. It's about a guy who is cheating on his girlfriend with someone who smells like tangerine (since the tangerine is spelled with a capital T it must be the code-name of the lover who must have some perfume that smells all "tangerinish"). So the girlfriend has noticed the scent on his skin and is aware of her boyfriend going on yet another "business trip". People around the girlfriend are telling her to leave him, that she is worth someone better. But when the boyfriend gets back, he tells her that he loves her, and she's probably fallen for him, in his lovetrap. She's afraid of getting her feelings hurt.
One more thing, I'd also like to add that it's: "But I'm still here, that proves that I love you DEAR."

General Commenti am exactly the same as *albionsailor*, it took me about 5 listens for me to get the song.

the man she loves, loves somebody else, that being tangerine.
she of course doesn't feel like she is good enough.
and the only thing that she wants is for him to be good to her.

General CommentI think that Tangerine is more of a literal sense, I mean they do capitalize T which signifies it is a name. How interesting, although I do completely agree with the previous comments.
