Give me a hug
Closer, closer
Closer, closer...
Love you so
Love you so...
Love you here
Love you here
Know love
Know love
It's you
God can you whisper in her ear?
I wasn't sure if we could be friends
God can you whisper in her ear?
I wasn't sure if we could be friends
God can you whisper in her ear?
I wasn't sure if we could be friends
Closer, closer
Closer, closer...
Love you so
Love you so...
Love you here
Love you here
Know love
Know love
It's you
God can you whisper in her ear?
I wasn't sure if we could be friends
God can you whisper in her ear?
I wasn't sure if we could be friends
God can you whisper in her ear?
I wasn't sure if we could be friends

Love you so
Love you so...
Instead of:
Love you more
Love you more...
really love, maybe love is someone? but i think the second lyric is, "now that you know"
In any case, I was just gonna say that Whisper's lyrics go -
"God, could you please whisper into her ear."
"I wasn't sure if we could be friends."
- so, I think those are the lines that are sampled and used at the end of the song. I don't think there is anything in the original song that says "hurry up and find me," but I understand how it could be heard like that. Burial has an awesome knack for murking up vocal samples and giving them an entirely new soul, almost to the point of changing the words you hear. For example, in "Distant Lights", I was dead sure for a while that the words were "(they) never let me dream," and that the original vocals were male. Turns out, it's Destiny's Child! The real lyrics go "Now that I need you."
Anyway, cheers to Burial for making a stellar track like this one. Alright, I'll stop blabbing now :P
