I've been taking my time
Getting things right
And I'm having the time of my life

I left home today at nine
And the city by noon
I spent the afternoon drinking alone

I've been taking my time
Getting things right
And I'm having the time of my life

I left home today at nine
And the city by noon
I spent the afternoon drinking alone

Well I went and made the switch
It went off without a hitch
Now my future's packed and waiting in my car

Got my ticket to Taipei
And time to start being truly free
Guess I won't be seeing you again
No I won't be seeing you again

Don't you try to follow me
You know what I have to do
I'm sorry but I won't take you along

You have known it from the start
That I operate alone
And I won't be seeing you again
No I won't be seeing you again
No I won't be seeing you again

I won't be seeing you again

General CommentAn independent streak run amok. Probably the most resigned and joyless I've ever heard someone say "I'm having the time of my life". Hypnotic, low-key electronica from a local (to me!) band that nobody knows, sadly.
