"Condemned" as written by Bjorn Gelotte, Anders Friden and Jesper Stromblad....
I'm so restless,
These walls drain my thoughts
Rooms with no sun,
I cant find my way out

It used to be my home
These days, far from my comfort zone
The life I live without control
Fear is taking hold

I should cross the line
Confront lives too blind

Hear a distant cry
Would you tell me how
To break the cycle that I'm in
And discover the living

I don't recognize my soul
Condemned to live in this black hole
Deep within time,
They crave warning signs

Hear a distant cry
Would you tell me how
To break the cycle that I'm in
And discover the living

I should cross the line
Confront lives too blind

Hear a distant cry
Would you tell me how
To break the cycle that I'm in
And discover the living

There's a hill to climb
Would you dream if I,
Design the future
And lock the end of time

    General Commentwanna correct the text...
    So restless
    These walls drain my thoughts...
    Room 307
    Can't find my way out.

It used to be my home.
This cage, far from my comfort zone.
    Alive but without control...
    Fear is taking hold.

    I should cross the line
    Confront lives too blind

    I don't recognize my soul
Condemned to live in this black hole
    Dig within time,
    and crave what is mine

    I should cross the line
    Confront lives too blind

    Hear a distant cry
    Would you tell me how
To break the cycle that I'm in
    And discover the living

    It's a hill to climb.
    Would be a dream
    If I design a future
And not the end of time.

    now it is correct :)

In Flames rocks live is just amazing :)

General CommentThis is In Flames nothing better could be than this xD
    Meaning:
    "Hear a distant cry
    Would you tell me how
To break the cycle that I'm in
    And discover the living"
I guess this is about hating your routine and wanting to start living

where did you get that line
"room 307" ? Every single time I listened to the song I always heard "rooms with no sun", now I hear "room 307" with the "7" being heard very distinctively. I wanna know what your source is before I correct the lyrics cause "rooms with no sun" makes more sense, but yours is kind of compelling

General CommentI love the intro to this song. it's also one of my favorite song from the album.
i would agree it's about living in a routine you can't seem to escape from, and needing to break the cycle.

General CommentI think this song is, as azraw said, about breaking your routine - a routine of being dead and it feels like you have no purpose (relating to the album title). I can relate to that meaning cuz it often feels as if I am just rushing towards life's end (death) and not making use of my life. Though i can't really see how the guys of In Flames could feel that way, they've made this awesome album, jk :) But I can understand how they/he feels, its like, no matter how hard you try, nothing really ever satisfies. I don't know its just my opinion cuz i can relate to it.
