Going southbound
To the city
Your eyes are closing
The stations fly by so quickly
In the underpass under a yellow light
Train’s arriving right on time
And you are on
Cloud nine
And I’ll wait
On the train with you

Having tough times
Don’t know who to talk to
Write them down and travel the whole line
Find you sleeping and when the whistle wakes you
We’ll escape through a hole in the wall
The day is long
Brand new
It won’t wait
For you

Day is long
Brand new
It won’t wait
For you
It won’t wait

General CommentI love this song. It reminds me of sleepy rides at night, the streetlights flickering by. My favorite Kevin Hearn song, and one of my favorite songs ever.
