"Some People" as written by and Alison Elizabeth/gregory Goldfrapp....
Some people kill for less
Some people find
It hard to get dressed
Some people well
Ask how old I am

Some people live
In a life
Some people need
More than a slice
But when it fades
When the glitters gone

Old and lonely
When the shade is down
The brighter lights
Just smells their empty heads

Some people don't get much
Some people feel here and touch
What your spirit wants
Is talking to you now

Some people just gotta say
Some people just wanna play
They get a kick
When it's all messed up

And what you thought you
Lost was just mislaid
All the poems
Written in your skin

[Chorus x2]

And what you thought you
Lost was just mislaid
All the poems
Written in your skin

    General CommentCan't believe nobodys commented!
Such an amazing song, one of the best of the album.
I think it's about the fact that there are bad people out there that do bad things to you, but that you owe it to yourself to not them let you get mad. Simple but beautiful.

General CommentI think the problem with being an underage hitman, like in this song, is that you can't really get into bars, strip clubs, or other places that your target may be hiding or hanging out. I don't think the artists know much about being hitmen, or about killing people. They shouldn't write music if they don't know the subject matter. I am just saying.

My OpinionLol what are you talking about? You're taking the song way too literally.

General CommentIt's actually 'Some people...well, ask how old I am' which is a reference to the fact Alison's never revealed her true age and doesn't like being asked in interviews.

General CommentI think this song is just like it sounds its about the differnt types of people. its like asking what the mona lisa means (its just a portrait) and btw goldfrapp was born in 66 making her 44 (and darn does she wear it well)

General CommentThe chorus seems to be missing:

    You know it,
    You owe it to yourself
You won't let it make you mad
    It's already crazy

I always thought the first line was "Some people give for less"
