"Young Sensualists" as written by and Scott West Reitherman....
two young sensualists got off the plane and got the gist
we took a car to town together
and as the week set in we glued like newly kin
you were an honest pal and i wasn't always right somehow

we would smoke and drink and laugh and sing of foreign things
we bought clever hats and umbrellas
if it wasn't quite my style and you felt semi-wild
you'd snatch it up and add it to your aesthetic dumb luck

there was patty who you liked and who i liked too
and as things played out you felt cheated
so when the sun shone in and showed my lusty sin
you were angry then and maybe still and won't be friends

but you were an honest pal and i wasn't always right somehow
yeah, you were an honest pal and i wasn't always right somehow

General CommentHeh, I love this song..
    I believe it's pretty self-explanitory.
Two young lovers or 'sensualists' are spending time together,
perhaps visiting somewhere or going on vacation, and they both are having a great time just being silly and having fun with eachother, with a gist of love behind it.
The woman, I assume, had a friend named Patty, whom the man took a bit too much interest into, and probably had sex with Patty... destroying the relationship he had with the original woman.
"You were angry then, and maybe still and wont be friends "
Is describing the outcome of his affair with Patty.. he destroyed the friendship between his 'woman' and Patty, and they are no longer friends.

    And of course
"You were an honest pal, but I wasn't always right somehow"
Just refers to them having innocent fun, but him doing something wrong.. like cheating.
The girl was faithful, but he just was keen to mistakes.. somehow.
