Waking up at noon, another hotel room, it will all be over soon.
Sometimes I wanna get away, but instead I stay.
Guess I like this sorta thing.
And I'm inclined to try anything.
Why do we fight?
Not tonight, let's try anything.

A little more work, a little more time.
I know it's hard, but it's yours and mine.
We're moving slow, but we never stand still.
We're just heading uphill.

I'll be your biggest fan, because I understand and I see it in your eyes.
You need to hear these words I say, no please don't run away.
You might like this sort of thing.
And I'm inclined to try anything.
Why, why do we fight?
No not tonight, let's try anything.

A little more work, a little more time.
I know it's hard, but it's yours and mine.
We're moving slow, but we never stand still.
We're just heading uphill.

We are one, you can be sure.
That we are more, you can be sure.
That we are one, you can be sure.
That we are more, we are more.

A little more work, a little more time.
I know it's hard, but it's yours and mine.
We're moving slow, but we never stand still.
We're just heading uphill.

General Comment[ahh! raining jane, on here! YAY]

this song is pretty easy to understand, its about their band and the journeys they've taken touring year-round for four years and just being a band for eight. Its a great song, my favorite on the EP. =]

My InterpretationI thought it was about a relationship.
Saying that the relationship seems to be falling apart, and the two people are fighting a lot, but they're trying to stop fighting at least for the night and trying to make it work.
"We are one" - The two people are in one relationship, they're a package almost, trying to stick together.

"It's yours and mine" - The relationship is part of both of them, and they both need to work at it, but they both will get something good from the relationship if they stay together.
