"Creepshow" as written by and Vanessa Bley Kerli Koiv....
I'm from a land called secret Estonia
Nobody knows where it's at
Nobody knows where it's at
Nobody knows where it's at
Ice cream mountains and chocolate skies
Nobody knows where it's at
Nobody knows where it's at
Nobody knows where it's at

Welcome to the creepshow
Welcome to the creepshow
Welcome to the
Welcome to the
Welcome to the
Creepshow

I'm from a land called secret estonia
Nobody knows where it's at
Nobody knows where it's at
Nobody knows where it's at
Cinnamon houses and licorice flies
Nobody knows where it's at
Nobody knows where it's at
Nobody knows where it's at

Welcome to the creepshow
Welcome to the creepshow
Welcome to the
Welcome to the
Welcome to the
Creepshow

Põdral maja metsa sees
Väiksest aknast välja vaatab
Jänes jookseb kõigest väest
Lävel seisma jääb
Kopp-kopp lahti tee
Metsas kuri jahimees
Jänes tuppa tule sa
Anna käppa ka

Welcome to the creepshow
Welcome to the creepshow
Welcome to the
Welcome to the
Welcome to the
Creepshow

General CommentYep, about her life in Estonia, pretty self explanatory. :)
Oh && for anyone who may have been interested, the part in Estonian translates to:

A reindeer has a little house in the forest
He's looking out from a small window
The rabbit is running towards the house
And he stops in the doorway
    Knock-knock, open up
There's an evil hunter in the forest
The reindeer says to the rabbit
Come inside and shake my hand

General CommentI love this song first off. So this is my analysis of it: I do not think Kerli is speaking fondly of her homeland. For one the song is called "Creepshow." That is pretty self-explainitory.

"Ice cream mountains and Chocolate skies."
Ice cream is cold, freezing even- freezing mountains. Frigid. Unpleasent. Chocolate is brown, brown dirty skies.

    "Cinnamon houses and licorice flies."
Cinnamon is a flavoring and it has a dusty feel to it. Houses made from it wouldn;t be very stable. And the licorice flies. Even if the other imagery was speaking fondly by comparing her homeland to candy, this line changes it all. Why mention flies? Flies aren't pleasent, and they are generally only present around filth. Licorice is black, so black flies.

She uses clever words and marvelous imagery. It's almost sarcastic and sort of reminds me of Hansel and Gretal. The witch's house was made from candy and looked pleasent, but it really was a horrid place and almost led to their death. In Estonia, she hints at in her music, she couldn't reach her full potential.

General CommentIn an interview Kerli said this song is about home life in Estonia, and how it seems that no one knows where it is. :] simple.

General CommentWell, mayamoo has a made a mistake in the translation - põder, in Estonian is nothing else than a moose/elk. Põhjapõder, however, would be a reindeer.

Since it is an Estonian folk song, having a reindeer in the lyrics would not make any sense, since reindeer need a little more cold climate for living than we have in Estonia. But, we have plenty of rabbits and elks/moose running around in the woods :)
