By now you may have noticed the dry taste of the wine
but you don't say a word just because
(well, that's why they told you to keep your mouth shut)
By now you may have realized that things aren't the same
but of course, what did you expect?
(A little late, my dear)

You know that
those ocean blue eyes would never tell the truth again
but you keep on taking, keep on taking
the life you live will never have the same effect on anyone, ever again

the nature of this program isn't quite as it seems
not quite as graphic as first thought out to be
some portions of this program have been altered quite drastically
and they do affect the outcome just a little bit (well quite the opposite!)

Let's go to the beginning where it all may have started
of this no one is sure because it's so outdated
Let's go back to the beginning because that's where it all began
the lipstick smeared across the walls oh so artistically

You know that
the words you say will be recorded on a small cassette
yet you continue, you continue to speak blasphemy
Is it just need for attention
or maybe just fear
we'll never, we'll never know, because...

the nature of this program isn't quite as it seems
not quite as graphic as first thought out to be
some portions of this program have been altered quite drastically
and they do affect the outcome just a little bit (well quite the opposite!)

the nature of this program isn't quite as it seems
not quite as graphic as first thought out to be
some portions of this program have been altered quite drastically
and they do affect the outcome just a little bit (well quite the opposite!)

Is this what you were expecting, darling
A gunshot heard throughout the night with your name on it?
Is this not what you were expecting
The cameras flashing, flashing, flashing
The cameras flashing, flashing, flashing
The cameras flashing, flashing, flashing

the nature of this program isn't quite as it seems
not quite as graphic as first thought out to be
some portions of this program have been altered quite drastically
and they do affect the outcome just a little bit (well quite the opposite!)

I'm not sure if these lyrics are real or not, but if they are it would make sense, since Ryan makes so many referances to Chuck P. books, and this is blatantly Diary.

By now you may have realized that things aren't the same but of course, what did you expect? (A little late, my dear) *It took her so long to figure out the conspiracy

but you keep on taking, keep on taking *She's CONSTANTLY taking pills

the nature of this program isn't quite as it seems not quite as graphic as first thought out to be *Nothing's the way it should be, she thought everything was obvious but it turned out everything she thought was wrong, and everything that was right, was hidden.

some portions of this program have been altered quite drastically and they do affect the outcome just a little bit (well quite the opposite!) *It's a different girl each time, but the ending is always the same

the lipstick smeared across the walls oh so artistically *VERY obvious, even though he did it in paint, maybe lipstick because he was gay?

But, I don't know. Zebraplop was right, it's very easy to submit fake lyrics, and these are more obviously pointing to the book than anything he's done before.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.
