"Freckles" as written by and Tobias Gad Natasha Bedingfield....
(Hum, hum, hum, hum, hum)
I used to care so much about what others think about,
I almost didn't have a thought of my own.
The slightest remark would make me embark on the journey
Of self-doubt, but that was a while ago.
This girl has got stronger, and if I knew then what I know now,
I would've told myself don't worry any longer, it's ok

Cause a face without freckles is like the sky without the stars.
Why waste a second, not loving who you are?
Those little imperfections make you beautiful, lovable, valuable -
They show your personality - inside your heart,
Reflecting who you are (whispers: who you are 3xs)

Whoa ooh whoa ooh whoa
I wondered if I could trade my body with somebody else in magazines
Will the whole world fall at my feet
I felt unworthy and would blame my failures on the ugliness
I could see, when the mirror looked at me
(sometimes I feel) sometimes I still feel like that little girl who doesn't belong in her own world I reminded myself that

Cause a face without freckles is like the sky without the stars.
Why waste a second, not loving who you are?
Those little imperfections make you beautiful, lovable, valuable -
They show your personality - inside your heart,
Reflecting who you are (whispers: who you are 3xs)

A face without freckles is like the sky without the stars.
Why waste a second, not loving who you are?
Those little imperfections make you beautiful, lovable, valuable
They show your personality, inside your heart,
Reflecting who you are

General Commentit's not my fave song and i dont listen to it often but i have freckles that i havent always liked and "'cause a face without freckles is like a sky without stars" kinda makes me feel good

i think this song is really good for a younger audience, im a bit older now so i already know that i dont need to look like anyone else but me ... but i know in high school it was all about doing whats cool and ugh all the 'populars' and the 'semi-populars' all looked the fucking same it was so anoying same designs from the same brand clothing, same uggly uggs, same pin straight hair, same jewelry, same bags, same makeup same speech ..... and this song really advocates individuality and doing and being who YOU want to be just listen to the words "Those little imperfections make you beautiful, lovable, valuable," i swear thats not bs i've known guys who have said something along that line, guys dont like girls that all look the fu*king same! and the ones that do look like clones them selves! ew!

we've all been there, we've all cared what others said about us, some let it go to our heads too far, others knew that what matters is how we see ourselves

General CommentIt makes me sad that no one comments this song, but as cheesy as some of the lyrics are I really really like this song. It just kind of makes you feel good about yourself, a lot of her songs do that. What makes you different makes you beautiful, can't be a better message than that =)

General Commenti think she's talking about imperfections... and how it would be boring and bland without them. or kinda sad like a sky w/ out stars. and that you shouldn't want to trade yourself in for a better "perfect" model.

How she doesn't think of people's remarks now. She just sees what beautiful in the mirror...not the imperfections...and that her imperfections don't take her back...they make her unique :D

General Commenti believe this song is about loving who you are and not caring what others think of you.
