"Don't Make Me Sad" as written by Daniel Giles Sells, Richard Peter Jones, Kevin Francis Jeremiah, Ciaran David Jeremiah and Paul Ronald Stewart....
Well, I know where you've been
And I've seen what you've seen
And I've read all the books
On your shelves and in your nooks

Still I don't understand
Though it's there in your hands
Why you beg and you steal
For a love that isn't real

Happiness can find you nowhere
Happiness can find you nowhere
Happiness can find you nowhere

Oh baby, don't make me sad
You're the only one I ever had
Oh baby, don't make me sad
You're the only love I ever had, ever had
Don't make me sad

In a field by a stone
I could sit for days alone
Not a thought for myself
Not my happiness or health

Just a fool that I love
With a push and a shove
It ain't easy to be true
But I do it just for you

Happiness will find us somewhere
Happiness will find us somewhere
Happiness will find us somewhere

Oh baby, don't make me sad
You're the only one I ever had
Oh baby, don't make me sad
You're the only love I ever had, ever had
Don't make me sad

Do I love? Yes, I love
Think I love, I love you, baby

All my days I've never known it
All my life I've never known it
I'm not scared to be alone
And my house feels like a home

I don't care if no one phones
And I don't care a thing
About getting gray and old
And I don't care

Oh baby, don't make me sad
You're the only one I ever had
Oh baby, don't make me sad
You're the only love I ever had, ever had
Don't make me sad

Do I love? I think I love
Oh yes, I love, I love you, baby
Do I love? I think I love
Oh yes, I love, I love my baby

General CommentThis is the best song ever. Does anyone know which member of the feeling says 'it's broken' at the end of the song? Or what it is that is broken? Funnily enough, I'm listening to this song while I'm writing this.

This is one of the best songs about love out there. I really feel his sentiment.

General CommentI guess Dan is with someone who he is really in love with. But she's cheating on him or something, referring to: "Well I know where you've been/ And I've seen what you've seen/ And I've read all the books /On your shelves and in your nooks" But he's still I love with her even though he knows what his partner is doing.

And he knows that Dan knows (he's gay) but his partner is still pretending he loves him, even though he doesn't. Dan is asking his boyfriend why he's doing it: "Still I don't understand/Though it's there in your hands/Why you beg and you steal/For a love that isn't real" .

Dan says he will do anything for his partner "In a field by a stone/I could sit for days alone/Not a thought for myself/ Not my happiness or health/Just the fool that I love/With a push and a shove/It ain't easy to be true/ But I do it just for you" but his partner is never happy "Happiness can find us nowhere."

Despite all this, Dan still believes it will work out: " Happiness will find us somewhere."

    Anyone else agree?
