Shutting all the systems down
Pulling all the plugs so we've got time to talk

Relying on technology
Feeling like we're here with no time to talk

Is there enough of us to go round?
Is there enough of us to fight?

The first or last communication breakdown
We're not turning back
It's killing me

Shutting all the systems down
Pulling all the plugs right out

Relying on technology
It's always you, it's always me

The first or last communication breakdown
We're not turning back

If only you could see
You'd stop me in the street as I walk
No time or place to speak
Is it always me going backwards?

The first or last

In this communication breakdown

It's killing me

General CommentGreat song! It's about pulling the plug on technology and actually speaking to eachother in a way different from "always you, always me..." "communication breakdown." Haha. Like Led Zep's but missing the "nervous breakdown" part. However, she does say, "it's killing me." Same thing. Like it!
