"Living In Another World" as written by Mark David Hollis and Timothy Alan Friese-greene....
Better parted
I see people crying
Truth gets harder
There's no sense in lying
Help me find a way from this maze
I can't help myself

When I see tenderness before you left
That even breaking up was never meant
But only angels look before they tread

Better parted
I see people hiding
Speech gets started
There's no sense in writing
Help me find a way through this maze
I'm living,in another world with you
And I can't help myself
Did I see tenderness where you saw hell
Did I see angels in the hand I held
God only know's what kind of tale you'd tell

My InterpretationOne of the best songs to come out of the 80's and with a great haunting sound ! I think this track is about a one-sided relationship, being in love with someone who doesn't feel the same and not really understanding why. A fantastic track !!

General CommentHe obviously can't let the terminated relationship go. Heartbroken, etc.

He's obsessed, fixated, possibly deranged in his denial, wishful thinking, etc. And the results are fascinating. She'll probably get a restraining order at some point.

    My favorite Talk Talk song.
