"Ship of fools" as written by and Ron Sexsmith....
Famous disappearing act
Kills 'em every time
The willing subject sneaks out back
And leaves her space behind

Life is not a parlor trick
There's no slight of hand
Just tryin' to save the sinking ship
And there's no sight of land

We are all in the same boat, darlin'
On the same rough sea
We are all in the same boat, darlin'
The ship of fools it seems

there's no good news in the news
Only bad news papers
As black humor stands amused
At the plight of human nature

Still a lot of good in the world
No matter what they say
And when the darkness comes unfurled
There's a light that was built to stay

We are all in the same boat, darlin'
On the same rough sea
We are all in the same boat, darlin'
The ship of fools it seems

Optimists and realists
And cynics all agree
That we are all in this
Together whatever will be

Oh, we are all in the same boat, darlin'
On the same rough sea
We are all in the same boat, darlin'
The ship of fools it seems

We are all in the same boat, darlin'
On the same rough sea
We are all in the same boat, darlin'
The ship of fools it seems
The ship of fools it seems

General CommentGotta have som connection to the old allegory "ship of fools" which claims that the world and us humans don't care or know where we're going, on this "ship".. that's my two cents at least;)
