and oh
how come i don't awake to the sun no more
when pixelated jackles say "when it rains, it pours?"
my stubborn curiosity will lead me right off course
and i guess its why marky ran away
to a sunnier LA
he found his brain in an apartment in Chinatown

so come on we can get
oh, so nervous and its a baby girl
thats why ive created this world
where you can come and find me when (come find me when)
you're just so bored of the shameless pay
from working the department
i know you're tired
but im complacent
lets pace around in our apartment
cause oh
when i rest my head i feel the fear of falling
and in my own town i trip to a far off land
thats the way

so forgive me for my lack of words
announcing adjectives are slowly pulling down my spine
and it seems each of them can't find a way to make any sense of it
just like me
and repeatedly the paper man says that its all wrong
and all i got are sedatives in these damn songs
but i grew up on them superstitions
probable cause for my lack of ambition at all

when i rest my head i feel the fear of falling
and in my own town i trip to a far off land
cause thats the way that it works on a day like today
gotta get out
gotta get out today

General Commentwell, thanks for 'fixing' that, i suppose. now put up druck's lyrics and don't embarrass yourself any further.

    and also, the line is:
when pixelated jackles saying "rains, it pours."

as in the expression, "when it rains, it pours." clearly.

General CommentI don't feel embarrassed; when I copied the demo to my hard drive for some reason it had the names of the two songs switched when it found them on CDDB. Thanks for being an internet punk! :]

    General Commentofficial from the booklet:

home come i don’t wake to the sun no more?
when pixelated jackals say it rains it pours
my stubborn curiosity leads me right off course
and i guess that’s why marky ran away to a sunnier L.A.
he found his brain in an apartment in chinatown
come on we can get oh so nervous and antsy baby girl
that’s why i created this world
where you can come and find me
when you’re just so bored and your shape is bent
from working the department and i know you’re tired
but i am complacent to pace around in our apartment
cause when i rest my head i feel the fear of falling
and in my own town i drift to a far off land
cause that’s the way that it works on a day like today
please forgive me for my lack of words
the notes and adjectives are slowly crawling down
my spine and it seems each of them can’t find
a way to make any sense of things just like me
and repeatedly the paper men say that it’s all wrong
and i got is sedatives and these damn songs
man i grew up on the superstitions
which is probable cause for my lack of ambition at all
    we gotta’ get out today

My InterpretationI'm thinking this is about a relationship he's in, which isn't quite healthy. He feels that his flaws are too much for his significant other, but he wants her to love him regardless.
