Like the leaf that sleeps through summer
We'll all trade the sun for dreams
Soon we'll fade from green to fire colors
As we spill to grasses green...

I have realized I'll only be here for awhile
Life comes and goes, before you know
I have ealized that life is a blessing and a trial
You can come then go before you know
Why you're living this life

Do we have a hope?
Do we have a hope?

We all wonder why we wake each morning
As we breathe our nicotines
Are we only to suffer aging?
Are we here to fall like leaves?

I have realized I'll only be here for awhile
Life comes and goes, before you know
I have ealized that life is a blessing and a trial
You can come then go before you know
Why you're living this life

General CommentThis song is about life and how it is very short, and cant seem meaningless if we do not understand what our purpose in life is.

When he says "Like the leaf that sleeps through summer, We'll all trade the sun for dreams" he means we spend out life in an unmotivated state, and we are not living for what we were designed to do. and
"Soon we'll fade from green to fire colors
As we spill to grasses green..." Means that we will all die and exit the earth eventually. and the rest of the song just simply questions the actions of unmotivated followers of Christ. This is a motivational song to tell people to become active in their faith, and to fulfill the purpose that God gave us for life.
