"Bring Back Love" as written by and Chris Badami Arthur Carl Enders....
By the year 2,020
I want to look at what we did
So we can stand up all together
Cause we put an end to it
And there'll be no more pointless fighting
No more money running it

Bring back love
Bring back love
Bring back love again

I was standing in a Chapel
It's not something I normally did
But I was broken, a mess
And I had nothing to get

A man put money in my pocket
I just stared straight up and looked at him
He said "Go take it son
You could do much more with it."
And we all could learn from him
Yeah I will never forget what he said

By the year 2,020
I want to look at what we did
So we can stand up all together
Cause we put an end to it
And there'll be no more pointless fighting
No more money running it

Bring back love
Bring back love

Now I was walking down my sidewalk
I just paid my final debt
I see a woman and her son
Yeah they had no place to live

The boy was turning out his pockets
I heard him wish he had a bed
I said "I have some room you could use to get back in."
She said "I'm not sure if I can pay you for this"
That's fine, I'm hoping...

By the year 2,020
I want to look at what we did
So we can stand up all together
Cause we put an end to it
And there'll be no more pointless fighting
No more money running it

Bring back love
Bring back love
Bring back love

By the year 2,020
I hope I'm standing here,
With my head held high;
My arms up in the air...

General Commenti love that ace wrote this because it's all about making music for the right reasons again. he doesn't want to make it for money or fame. he just wants to do it because of the love of music. hence...bring back love.

General CommentI think it's also about the TEN breakup, and how the reasons ifyourebored mentioned kind of led up to it. He doesn't really have any hard feelings, and he just wants to be able to look back on this in a few years with the guys and be proud of what they accomplished as a band, no matter how much money they made (or didn't make.)

General Commentace enders himself said last night that this song was about making music and being in a band for the right reasons, not for the fame or money, but for the fans and the connection between a band and it's fans. aww.

General CommentThis song perfectly sums up what Ace is about. He makes music because it's what he loves to do. He's not doing it for money. The album this comes off of (The Secret Wars) is available for a free download at the Fuse website, by Ace's choice.

He's one of the only pure musicians out there nowadays.

General Commentso this songs obviously about taking the money aspect out of the music industry and is saying we should "bring back love" for music regardless of all that other shit

oh and i also think the second verse is a metaphor or allusion (if either of those are right) to music like in the lyrics the guy helps the people out even though he wont be getting anything in return, and i think thats saying how people should giving there music to people even if they can't have something in return.

"I'm not sure if I can pay you for this"
    That's fine

those lines show that ace wants others to be making music for the right reasons and if they do so it will be fine if they don't get any money cause thats not why theyre doing it

    peace
