GO!

Your judgment day has arrived!
Its about time!
Well while i have attention
QUID PRO QUO!

So,
can we have a chat
about the world's
abominations!
throw your halo down
to see eye to eye....
and explain to me why
there is
(father forgive us)
murderers!
conquers!
imposers!
tell me why
there is
(we know not what we do)
pedophiles all the while
hiding behind the pulpit throne!

Your judgment day has arrived!
Its about time!
Well while i have attention
QUID PRO QUO!

you,
given the world
and some simple rules
you couldn't follow!
you,
were given free will
and you abused it!
thats not my problem!

How
could you
(father forgive us)
take it all
waste it all
all of this in spite of me!
How
could you
(we know not what we do)
let the one my only son
die for you for nothing!
how
could you
(am i my brothers keeper?)
See your people suffering
Sit back and do NOTHING!
Now,
Its time....
(yes i am)
To face your fate the human race
Oh so bad its calling

RAIN!
FIRE!
RAISE THE OCEANS HIGHER!
LET THE SKY FALL!
LET THE GROUND SWALLOW EVERYTHING!
ITS ALL YOUR FAULT!!!!
ONE BY ONE
THE TRUMPETS CALL
SAINT JOHNS REVELATION!
SO IT IS WRITTEN-
SO IT SHALL BE DONE-
ON EARTH AS IS IN HEAVEN!!!!

Your judgment day has arrived!
Its about time!
Well while i have attention
QUID PRO QUO!

(father forgive us)
Different views
Misconstrued
All ready to die!
(we know not what we do)
See the answers in front of us
Were too blind!
(am i my brothers keeper?)
Seize the day
That we may
Have another try!
(yes i am)
And I pray you'll take away
all the gifts youve given
To me....
To me!
TO ME!!!!

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
