"No Love" as written by and Charles-andre/bouvier Comeau....
Staring out at the world across the street
You hate the way your life turned out to be
He's pulling up
In the driveway
And you don't make a sound
Cause you always learned to hold
The things you want to say
You're always gonna be afraid

There's only hate
There's only tears
There's only pain
There is no love here
So what will you do?
There's only lies
There's only fear
There's only pain
There is no love here
What will you do?

Broken down like a mirror smashes to pieces
You learned the hard way
To shut your mouth and smile
If these walls could talk,
They would have so much to say
Cause every time you fight,
The scars are gonna heal
But they're never gonna go away

There's only hate
There's only tears
There's only pain
There is no love here
So what will you do?
There's only lies
There's only fear
There's only pain
There is no love here
What will you do?

You're falling
You're screaming
You're stuck in the same old nightmare
He's lying
You're crying
There's nothing left to salvage
Kick the door cause this is over
Get me out of here

There's only hate
There's only tears
There's only pain
There is no love here
So what will you do?
There's only lies
There's only fear
There's only pain
There is no love here
What will you do?

There's only hate
There's only tears
There's only pain
There is no love here

General CommentSorry, but saying pretty girls are stupid is not only really harsh but also unreasonable and not always true? They don't always end up with total jerks either. Every woman out there can end up being stuck with an awful boyfriend, but they can also lead happy relationships, no matter how 'pretty'.

I think the song itself is pretty self-explanatory; about a girl in a relationship with a guy that lies to her (and probably cheats on her, idk) and doesn't really respect her. She keeps her mouth shut though, possibly for the sake of peace in their relationship or because she thinks there isn't anyone better to come anyway.

Kick the door, 'cause this is over
    Get me out of here
    Kick the door

And yeah, than she realises that nothing's going to save the relationship and calls it over and finally breaks free.

General CommentI have seen that usually the most beautiful girls are involved with jerks as a boyfriends. I also have learned that gorgeous girls are usually more concerned about their beauty and superficial stuff than having a good partner by their side.

As a result, they are always asking why the world is so unfair to them...why ¨god¨send so many assholes to their lives...why can´t they have a ¨real¨relation...

The answer is because they don´t want to. They like to suffer, to live a lie in complicated relationships, they are more concerned about the britney speas mental health, in stead of wondering how can they change their lives. In short, even though they are pretty...they are really stupid.

I think this song is all about. People trying to get involved in a good sentimental relation but they refuse to change their bad habits and consequently they are in a relation with NO LOVE.

    Sad, but true.

General Commentthis song i think is about a single lonley guy who wants someone there for him, but theres "no love" and he hates the way his lifes turned out to be because he has had bad experiances in the past.

    'Cause every time you fight
    The scars are gonna heal
But they're never gonna go away'

but he is used to all the pain and he can hide it cause he is so used to it

General Commentso far i'd have to disagree with what everyone has said about this song...the first time I heard it, it seemed to me that it was about a kid who lived with an abusive father and that the kid gets into a lot of fights with him but is able to hide the scars and damaged until no day the kid is just so fed up with it they the leave but then they go back realizing that its the only place that they have to live and for now they'll just have to deal with it until the kid has enough money or is old enough that they can move out forever and never have to deal with the fathers shit again......

    but thats just my interpretation

General CommentI first interpreted the meaning of this song as a abusive/loveless relationship but it could be interpreted into so many different situations. I love songs like that, you can picture what they're trying to say in the way you think it is.

One of my favorites off their new album.

General CommentI love and I hate this song. Love it because it's Simple Plan and it has a catchy rhythm and everything. Plus, it's just a good song. Hate it because it makes me cry. Pathetic, huh? Yeah...I've been told that before. But this song can be emotional to many people for a lot of reasons. Maybe a girl is in a bad relationship with her boyfriend, or maybe it's because they're like me and absolutley hate their dad cuz he's a complete a**hole. See, I always listen to this song and see myself, which is weird, but true. It makes me think about a daughter who has an abusive father who doesn't understand, and who you can't talk to because he won't listen. Instead he'll scream and shout, and throw things and trash your belongings. Been there, done that. Like the whole "shut your mouth and smile"...oh, yeah. I totally know that feeling. He'll be saying how much he loves you, and you have to just smile as he hugs you and everything, and if you don't say you love him back or smile, he'll hit you or something else, which sucks, don't you think? And I hate when he pulls up in the driveway coming home from work...worst part of the day is when he gets home. He doesn't love anyone in the family. He makes everyone cry. I hate him so much. Don't even think I'm "being maybe a little too harsh on him." No, he totally deserves it. I hope he dies. Yep, this song is totally my life. Yay for sucky lives...not...Yay for leaving home and going to college!.......Good song though. I give it five stars. I also think it's about someone in the bands relationship with their dad. They're always mentioning their dad, like in the song "Perfect." Obviously someone had a bad relationship...

    General CommentI don't think it's about a boy/girl relationship.

It reminds me of my house, always screaming and fighting. Hurt and broken family. No love just tears and hate
