I been peddling sugary drinks to all the little kids for weeks
Spending late nights at the factory
Making fat stacks for my family
But now my wife's been getting shady
That trick-ass mark don't call me baby
I'll sit by the window sill and if she's got another man
Then juice will spill

Thought I had people I could trust like my boy, Captain Crunch
I know he'd never do me like that, behind my back
I found her mouth all cut up, and his hat in the corner
Yo, homes you don't know what I'm capable of

Before Kool-aid picks me up
I ran blocks, I sold rock
G's up, hoes down and I have all these snitches stomped
Then I grew up
And got a real job peddling drinks to all these little snobs
And if you think that I fell off
Then watch you're back before you get popped

I'll disconnect the Captain's neck
And make him wish that he was dead
I'll disconnect the Captain's neck
And make him wish that he was dead
I'll smash your skull like a crunch-berry punk

Thought I had people I could trust like my boy, Captain Crunch
I know he'd never do me like that, behind my back
I found her mouth all cut up, and his hat in the corner
Yo, homes you don't know what I'm capable of

So keep my name out your mouth, son

Haha, great song. The Kool Aid Man finally has a great job being the Kool Aid Mascot. But latey, his wife has been acting strange. And to his suprise, the guy she's sleeping with, is his good, trustworthy friend, Captain Crunch. And the Kool Aid Man is officially pissed. And Captain Crunh is about to get fruit punched.

haha This song seem so nostalgic with the kool-aid and cap'n crunch references, but it's about a situation thats pretty upsetting.

    I love this band!

    My Opinion

I love the name of this song. I especially like the part where he says "I found her mouth all cut up" I think pretty much all of this band's lyrics are irreverent, so good luck trying to discern what the hell they mean...

to "fateworksbothways" i think the part where he says "i found her mouth all cut up" is a refrence to how captin crunch always ends up cutting the roof of your mouth when u eat it, so that was just another sign that his wife was cheating on him, damn these dudes are genius lol

I believe this is song is like a cover up. Like how he is the Kool-Aid man and Kaptain Krunch is fooling around with his wife. Maybe its supposed to be like one them had a girl and a close friend took his girl and now he wants revenge. Look at my name I would know.

    My Interpretation

Maybe I'm looking to into this but I believe it's a metaphor for a drug dealer turning into a bartender and his boss stealing his girl. But it's like a personal friend (the boss) so it hurts a lot more and he's more willing to beat the fuck out of him.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
