oh, miss jane
for people like us, there are no happy endings.
evening breaks
turn on the lights, open your eyes, and wake up
put on your makeup.

oh, miss jane
the boys only want to undress you
your sweet face
is worth a stare
and trouble for those around you
they all surround you
you're not to blame
seventy jane

oh, miss jane
the boys on the floor
only obscure my angle
their hearts break
when you toss your hair,
they shatter all around you.
queen, they crowned you.

you're not to blame
seventy jane
i'm still holding a flame
for you, seventy jane
you're not to blame
seventy jane
i'm still holding a flame.

oh, miss jane
for people like us, there are no happy endings
only endings.

General Commenti feel as if i could be miss seventy jane so this is probably a personal meaning to me.

its like jane is someone who can't help but be the girl of almost every man's desire. it brings much misfortune because she's young and is taking this to her advantage.. so everyone only looks at her like a piece of ass and not for her peace of mind. so really there are no happy endings, just a full circle of endings over and over again.
