"Angel" as written by Lashawn Ameen Daniels, Richard Preston Butler, Rodney Roy Jerkins and Crystal Johnson....
I've got an angel
She doesn't wear any wings
She wears a heart that could melt my own
She wears a smile that could make me want to sing
She gives me presents
With her presence alone
She gives me everything I could wish for
She gives me kisses on the lips just for coming home

She can make angels
I've seen it with my own eyes
You got to be careful when you you've got good love
'Cause them angels will just keep on multiplying

You're so busy changing the world
Just one smile can change all of mine
We share the same soul
Oh oh oh oh oh
We share the same soul
Oh oh oh oh oh
We share the same soul
Oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh
Mm mm mm mm

    I’ve got an angel
    She doesn’t wear any wings
She wears a heart that compelled my own
She wears a smile that makes you wanna sing
    She gives me presents
    Where the presents are loans
She gives me everything I could wish for
She gives me kisses on the lips just for coming home

    She could make angels
I’ve seen it with my own eyes
You gotta be careful when you *something* up
Cause the angels will just keep on multiplying

But you’re so busy changing the world
Just one smile can change all of mine
    We share the same soul
Oh oh oh oh oh ohhh
    We Share the same soul
Oh oh oh oh oh ohhh
    We Share the same soul
Oh oh oh oh oh ohhh
Oh oh oh oh oh ohhh
    Umm umm umm uhhhhhhmm

    i think it's actually:

    I’ve got an angel

She wears a heart that can melt my own
She wears a smile that makes me want to sing
    She gives me presents
    With her presence alone

She gives me kisses on the lips just for coming home

    She could make angels

Cause the angels will just keep on multiplying

But you’re so busy changing the world
Just one smile and you can change all of mine
    We share the same soul
Oh oh oh oh oh ohhh
    We Share the same soul
Oh oh oh oh oh ohhh
    We Share the same soul
Oh oh oh oh oh ohhh
Oh oh oh oh oh ohhh
    Umm umm umm uhhhhhhmm

General CommentI went to his concert earlier this year and he told us that this song came about when one of his sons asked the birds and the bees questions. He explained it using a theory of multiplying and this is how the song came about. It was the funniest story wish I could remember it exactly.

General CommentNot just a simple love song about his wife, but about his children also.

    "She could make angels
I’ve seen it with my own eyes
You gotta be careful when you got good love
Cause the angels will just keep on multiplying"

    Excellent song writing.

General CommentThis is the most beautiful love song ever! "She gives me presents with her precence alone." or "She wears a heart that can melt my own." A song so simple and stripped down. I bought the album at midnight on the release date and driving home with this song playing... I thought my heart was going to stop beating. It is awesome!
