I know how you are with these things
And you're not gonna stop
I know how you are
Yeah you're an artist
When you tear things apart
Oh

I think it's when your friends
(Don't think that you know)
Twist the knife in your back
And I'm still giving into it

I don't think that you know
I can assure that you don't
And there is nothing that I can say,
To you, To soothe...To you To soothe.

I'm pressing my luck
On the neck of regret
And distress
Cause it's not like it's our favorite thing
Don't you dare forget
Don't you dare forget
That nothing with meaning is easy

It's so easy
To vomit the words
and choke.

Blood

You've never seen a machine
Like this before
Yeah yeah yeah
Whoa whoa whoa ohhoho whoa

I'm pressing my luck
On the neck of regret
And distress
Cause it's not like it's our favorite thing and
Don't you dare
And don't you dare forget
And don't you dare forget
That nothing with meaning is easy easy

You've never seen a machine like this
It devours devours the flowers
The flowers
The flowers are fake
The flowers are fake
The flowers are fake
Yeah yeah yeah
Whoa whoa whoa ohhoho whoa

Cause I'm gone goodbye yeah
Cause I'm gone goodbye yeah

well as much as your interpretaion makes sense i talked to tino the other day( the drummer) and he said its about how the weatherman is a really trusted figure that everyone relies on but he could be a completly different person off camera.

I tried my bext but in the song sometimes it is hard to understand what Matt is saying. Also I think this is a break up song.

this song is about the band. the break-ups and losses that they've had i.e: "the flowers are fake" & "nothing with meaning is easy"

& how they're going to come back stronger and be better i.e: "you've never seen a machine like this before"

yeah i see that totally. i mean sometimes you have to look at the title and it will make more sense. still as an artist you try leave it open ended so it can be interpreted differently depending on the reader. it's funnnnn. :]

i think this songs message is kinda like "dont judge a book by its cover" ithink this because

    1. the title, just like edgey said a weatherman appears as a honest, trusted, figure. when in reality he could be a total douche
    2. "the flowers are fake" can be compared to a girl, and even though this girl is really freaking hot on the outside, on the inside she's a lying, backstabbing bitch hense the lines "I know how you are Yeah your an artist When you tear things apart" and "Its so easy To vomit the words and choke. Bloooooooooooood"

3 "You've never seen a machine like this It devours devours the flowers" ...i think that he is the machine and he has the ability to see through her lies.

4."Cause Im gone goodbye yeah" means tht he left her ass..simple as that

...pretty much i think this song is just about a girl who really wasnt what she seemed to be, and he figured that out and left her ass. at least. thats what i think

    My Interpretation

I moved recently and "the special someone" sent me this verses from that song:

"And don't you dare forget That nothing with meaning is easy easy"

So I guess that, yes, it can be a break up song. But still, he is giving some kind of hope that it may be hard but is worth it. because it has a stronger meaning. because it matters. that's my point of view. (:

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.
