It's a shame, that it had to be this way
It's not enough to say I'm sorry,
It's not enough to say I'm sorry.

Maybe I'm so blind
Or maybe we're the same
But either way I can't breathe
Either way I can't breathe

All I had to say was goodbye,
We're better off this way,
We're better off this way.

I'm alive but I'm losing all my drive
'Cause everything we've been through
And everything about you seems to be a lie,
A guiltless, twisted lie
That made me learn to hate you
Or hate myself for letting it pass by.

All I had to say is goodbye,
We're better off this way,
We're better off this way.

All I had to say is goodbye,
We're better off this way,
We're better off this way.

And every, everything isn't only what it seems
So hold these words that you never told me
It's time to say goodbye, it's time to say goodbye...
Goodbye.

Take my pain away
Tell me I, tell me I was wrong
Tell me I was wrong...

Okay! From my experience, this could be about being in love with a girl who is already in a relationship. She loves him back, and she's torn between the man who she is in the relationship with and the man who she had ended up loving aswell. The two have found themselves in a predicament, for instance they realised their mutual feelings and something occured due to them, causing the girl to become unfaithful to her boyfriend. He knows it's killing her, because she is so in love with her partner and him, so he does what he has to do. If he removes himself from the picture, she can be happy in their relationship. It's a painful thing to do, but in the long run it must be worth it. It must be easier to live with knowing that the person you love is happy and getting on with their life, rather than knowing that you could be the cause of them having to leave someone they love so dearly.

    yeah..

depressing, ne? But it is impossible to be in love with two people at once. If you truley love someone, they are everything and anything that you will ever need. When you love someone for their positives and their flaws, what could possibly lead you to think someone else is better than them?

XD OKAY. i'm done with my little depressed and waffled message. :] There's my view! XD

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
