Alone Again,
Lights are on but there's no one home,
I won't pick up,
Leave a voice message at the tone,
I can't lie for me,
But for you I will try my best,
Guess I'll say I'm nearly there,
But I've not even started yet,
And then I think to myself that there's no one else to blame.

And I don't mind if all the people don't share my point of view,
And you may lie, just sitting around it's not what I wanna do,
And I could say that I'm alright, I got little bits on the side,
it's no excuse it's an explanation, it's just my lazy drive oh yeh.

Alone Again,
Even now I can hear your voice,
On my back again,
Want to stop but I have no choice,
It's my day off but I guess I could work all night,
Ok maybe not what the hell it was worth a try,
And then i think to myself that there's no one else to blame.

And I don't mind if all the people don't share my point of view,
And you may lie, just sitting around it's not what I wanna do,
And I could say that I'm alright, I got little bits on the side,
It's no excuse it's an explanation, it's just my lazy drive oh yeh.

And I don't mind if all the people don't share my point of view,
And you may lie, just sitting around it's not what I wanna do,
And I could say that I'm alright, I got little bits on the side,
It's no excuse it's an explanation, it's just my lazy drive oh yeh.

Alone Again,
Lights are on but there's no one home,

My InterpretationI think this song is about procrastination, and how no matter how many times you tell yourself to do something, it just never gets done. And the judgement you get from others for doing/not doing things when it's not necessarily any of their business.

    Brilliant catchy song.
