"No You Didn't, No You Don't" as written by and Liam James Fray....
So just because I use salty phrases and I go through stages
Where I neglect endeavor does it mean I'm not clever?
No I don't think so

Just because my newspaper pages
Haven't been the times in ages
Does this meen that I don't no as much as you?
Jelousy will destroy us or so she used to say
You'd kill for half the things we do including yesterday

But I suppose you know because your went to school with me
You sit in ya garage and you'd see
All the things we do don't you! no you didn't and no you don't
No you didn't and no you don't. no you don't!

Do you remember us lot doing keys
In the back of the garage at 243?
That was us and no one else
Lend luke a jumper off the shelf
Do you remember us lot doing keys
In the back of the garage where no one sees
That was us, no one else another jager off the shelf

So I suppose you know because your went to school with me
Sit in ya garage and you'd see
All the things we do don't you! no you didn't and no you don't
No you didn't and no you don't. no you don't!

Always be people lookin down there noses
I don't care I'm comin up smelling of roses

But I suppose you know because your went to school with me
Sit in ya garage and you'd see
All the things we do don't you! no you didn't and no you don't
No you didn't and no you don't. no you don't! no ya don't

General Commenti think this song is criticizing people who with the holier-than-thou mentality.
basically hes saying that his group is looked down upon by this person (for doing keys/drugs?) and this person judges them by this based on rumors. truth is that theirs more to them than that.

General Commentit seems to me to be about people jumping on the bandwagon and saying they knew all about the band members even if they never actually spoke to them?

General Commentthe "doing keys at 243" obviously means snorting keys but 243 is liam's house number :)

General CommentIts about people looking down on them cos they havent got anything better to do.
"but I suppose you know cos you went to school with me" this line is for people like ellieacrylic that know what house number Liam lives at! Did you go to school with him too???

My InterpretationI think it's about people pretending to know the band just because they went to school with them, but they weren't there at the key parts of Liam's memory where he was with a few mates doing keys (loads of Bob Hope) in the back of his mate's garage. Luke was cold so the person who lived in the garage house (obviously better off than them) lends Luke a jumper - a posh one - a Jaeger.
