"Falling Out Of Trees" as written by and Brian Leseny Fennell....
Fall, fall out of trees into the street on my own
I finally found out how long I can hang on
Oh, I got this all wrong, my heart is scared, my heart is gone
Now looking around, there's no one here to hear my fall

White, white as a sheet, I saw a ghost, I think it was me
I've got to get out, out of this town, it's scary
Sometimes when I sleep I miss my home, I miss my tree
But now it's up to them to carry me back up to the top

I've got this now, my legs are steady now
The angels warned me never to fall down

I've got this now, my legs are steady now
The angels warned me never to fall down

My InterpretationFor me, personally, this song is about pushing people away, especially in family life. 'Fall out of trees' When we're younger we climb trees, so I really think this is about loss of innocence / moving on from childhood. Here's this person who has dropped out of his childhood and into the real world to find himself all a lone. Probably because he's pushed everyone out of his life.

Then 'i saw a ghost, i think it was me' he's feeling lost in himself because of this. A half life. And getting out of town is about escape before, I think, finally going back home. And having the people you knew help you back up. Guide you. Your fate is in their hands: 'but now its up to them to carry me back up to the top'. Carry him back to where he was as a child.

'the angels warned me never to fall down' - parents perhaps?

<3 beautiful song. so glad i've found this band.
