"Everything Changes" as written by Chris Mccormack/ Nathan Boddy and Adrian Fenton....
I watched you slip away slowly
It's just so hard to let go of you
how blind was I not to realise?
I should have seen it in your eyes.
I look inside our memories
I smile and cry, and have to ask why
to follow the same old routine
do you also tell them you can't breathe?

Sometimes it feels like everything changes
sometimes it feels like nothing can save us
sometimes it feels like your mask is bleeding
sometimes it feels like nothing can save me.

We fell apart at the frayed seams
she was two faces in one fake skin
her flesh is transparent and clean
the needle pierces so deeply.
And so, my final question:
how does it feel to be so empty?
One day you'll realise something:
you fucking hurt me so badly.

Sometimes it feels like everything changes
sometimes it feels like nothing can save us
sometimes I feel like your mask is bleeding
sometimes I feel like nothing can save me.

General CommentA truly great vocal. Usually I can't stand to hear women sing but Helen Tiller's voice is so plaintive and chilling. And the piano's good too! I guess as far as a meaning behind the lyrics, this one's pretty obvious: she was emotionally hurt by a ruthless man. He just moved on to the next girl but she is convinced that one day he will succumb to guilt and be buried under the weight of his past misdeeds. Well that's the impression I got anyway.
