For a long time, I could feel nothing
But as for sight, supernaturals coming (?)
I can not feel anything, dream as a whisper
I miss your absence (?)
I cannot remember (Never anything!)

Desolate angel of mine
Sing (Sing!) to me (Scream!) the song of wretched lives.

I was told this would be easy (That's why [?])
I'm still, I'm breathing, I'm bleeding
The walking dead, a haunting reminder
What I've become, what I'm still fighting (?)
(Full grown! [?])

I'll never hear, I'll never see
I'll never scream, I'll never be
able to feel anything
I'll always be nothing (Nothing!)

Desolate angel of mine
Sing (Sing!) to me (Scream!) the song of wretched lives

No! Cold!
And so I am

I'll never hear, I'll never see
I'll never scream, I'll never be
able to feel anything
I'll always be nothing

I'll never hear, I'll never see
I'll never scream, I'll never be
able to feel anything
I'll always be nothing (Nothing!)

Desolate angel of mine
Sing (Sing!) to me (Scream!) the song of wretched lives

Until the walk of death (Walk with me!)
Into the fields, into the fields of grace, I lay

General CommentIf anyone could find the lyrics to this song and post them, I'd be happy to fix them. I know I got some stuff wrong, but I did it all by ear, so of course there's going to be something wrong.

That being said, from what I know for sure, this is my interpretation of this amazing song:
I believe this song to be about someone who believes that they do not matter in the world. They were numb to the world around them, and in the second verse, they try to commit suicide. They see all the horrible things in the world ("The walking dead") and they don't think living is worth it to anyone. The desolate angel is how they picture themselves in their mind.

This song leaves me speechless, this is an amazing band that deserves to be on the radio (if nothing else) for their heartfelt and stunning lyrics, more than any "Soulja Boy" ever will.
