This pen will drain of ink
Before I finish this note
My throat is dry, I need a drink
I'm to hasty with this rope

My hands tremble, sweat drips from my face,
Remembering you calling me a lonely disgrace,
I took out my pen, paper and shame,
You want know my face, but you'll sure know my name.

You'll read and gasp, covering your mouth,
"Shocked to see me dead?", says my ghost,
It's all in your head, funny thing this guilt,
Your walls come crashing down, or were they never built.

Hole up this destruction, lockdown the mine,
Drown in the water, rises over time,
Sleepless nights and bloodshot eyes,
Thinking of nothing, except my demise.

If you were innocent you would have peace of mind,
Angels keep no secrets, no matter how much you cry.
