"We waited" as written by and Howie Beck....
sittin' on a country road, that's where i can lie
sittin' under your shadow
that's i where i can hide until i reach the other side

we waited
but they're never gonna come, light's fading
we just got out and we'll make it
and they're never gonna see us again

back home we're always waiting for the front of the line
everybody's just waiting
but they don't know why
we're just sittin' watching them go by

we waited
but they're never gonna come, light's fading
we just got out and we'll make it
and they're never gonna see us again

say goodbye
it was our time to say goodbye
if not the only thing we ever did get right

we waited
and they're never gonna come, they're fading
and they're never gonna find us waiting
they're never gonna find us waiting

they're never gonna find us waiting

General Commenthard to say what this one is exactly about, but it's for sure one of his catchies songs. the banjo and the reference to a "country road" give the song a nice country feel while still keeping a poppy appeal.
