I've been changing
You're still waiting on me
Just wait for me

And I am on my own
But it's nice to see you came alone
And this might sound wrong
But I can only tell you through a song
And I will take my time
'Cause it's the only thing that's on my side
And this can't be real
Tell me do you ever feel

Do you ever feel [4x]

Oh I've been changing
You're still waiting on me
I'll never let go, never let go
She said I'll never grow up
Oh yeah I've been changing
You're still waiting on me
I'll never let go, never let go
She said I'll never grow up

Two years now since I met you
And I just can't forget about you
You don't know what you do to me
Oh you don't know what you're doing to me
And baby I'm not lost
I'm just a little confused on what to do
And it's all on me
Oh it's not you, why can't you see?

Do you ever feel [4x]

Oh I've been changing
You're still waiting on me
I'll never let go, never let go
She said I'll never grow up
Oh yeah I've been changing
You're still waiting on me
I'll never let go, never let go
She said I'll never grow up

Oh who are you now?
(Oh who are you now?)
[2x]

This shit is so played out
It's so played out
So played out

Yeah I've been changing
You're still waiting on me
Oh please wait for me

I've been changing
You're still waiting on me
I'll never let go, never let go
She said I'll never grow up

to me this song perfectly describes me life right now.

ok, how it relates to me: i'm in my first semester at college and i decided to try to stay with my boyfriend through college. the first semester it worked out alright but now it's getting difficult. he's a little overprotective so like i can't do the things i wanna do. so i'm thinking it'd be best if we took time apart for me to do the college stuff.

and as for a general meaning, to me: "I've been changing You're still waiting on me Just wait for me" i think it's the girl talking here saying she's changing, she wants a break but she still loves him

"And I am on my own But it's nice to see you came alone And this might sound wrong But I can only tell you through a song And I will take my time 'Cause it's the only thing that's on my side And this can't be real Tell me do you ever feel" this is the guy. he's confused, he'll wait because it's the only thing he can do. he doesn't believe it and he wonders if she really ever cared

"Oh I've been changing You're still waiting on me I'll never let go, never let go She said I'll never grow up Oh yeah I've been changing You're still waiting on me I'll never let go, never let go She said I'll never grow up" girl changing, having fun, living life. boy waiting

"Two years now since I met you And I just can't forget about you You don't know what you do to me Oh you don't know what you're doing to me And baby I'm not lost I'm just a little confused on what to do And it's all on me Oh it's not you, why can't you see?" they've been together for so long, he doesn't understand why now. he's trying to tell her how much she means to him. and he knows he'll go on without her, but he's just trying to get used to it.

and the rest is pretty much repetitive. kso maybe i'm wrong. but that's just what it sounds like to me

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
