"Everybody sold out" as written by and Howie Beck....
everybody sold out
everyone sells out
i guess it's just you and me now
so please keep me young
just keep me strong
keep me inside of this light

cuz today i'm not feeling so well
i'm running out of time
i'm falling off the line
and i know that it's just up to you now
so please don't sell out
like everybody else does

with a twitch to the left
and the sun behind the clouds
and i won't just watch you go down
just tell me i'm wrong
just tell me i'm wrong
keep me inside of this light

cuz today i'm not feeling so well
i'm running out of time
i'm falling off the line
and i know that it's just up to you now
so please don't sell out
like everybody else does
like everybody else does

General Commentthis, for a change, is not a breakup song, but maybe it describes the stages that precede a breakup. still it's howie confessing his insecurity, probably to a girlfriend... not 100% sure what he means by "selling out" but i think it could stand for being unfaithful and cheating on a partner. it sounds as if he wants to hang on to a relationship because it's very important for him, but feels that he is the weaker part ("i know that it's just up to you now"), and that his partner might just as well cheat on him like "everybody else does"...
