"All the King's Horses" as written by Hans Juergen Kuersch and Marcus Siepen....
I can feel I'm one
With the tortured land
With its solitude and decay
There's no one left
All the other men
Pass on through the night

All dead and gone
Still I don't dare to move
The imprisoned soul
Cannot find back home

Snow falls down
It covers field and blood
Snow falls down
And clears the view

It stays the same
It is cold

And once again
The battle's fought
Out on the plains
So rhymes spread out its glory
But
No rhyme defines its pain

I can't recall all their names
Connection broke loose
They've crossed the lake
Reached the other side
And leave me alone
With the truth

All the king's horses
And all the king's men
They've failed to dam the flood and
They've failed to find the grail
Taliesin, old friend of mine
Sing my song

Then once again
The battle's lost
I am to blame
Snow falls down
All dead and gone
They all are dead and gone
They've turned to dust
They've sealed the past
A long, long time ago

I can't recall all their names
Connection broke loose
They've crossed the lake
Reached the other side
And leave me alone

I can't recall all their names
Connection broke loose
They've crossed the lake
Reached the other side
And leave me alone
With the truth

General CommentGreat lyrics, and a atmospheric sound. It has something to do with the legend of the Holy Grail, perhaps throuhg the perspecitve of Percival encountering the bodies of his fellow knights and finding the kingdom becoming bleak place.

General CommentThis song reminds me a lot of Warlord Chronicles, by Bernard Cornwell. It seems to be talking about Derfel, the main character. *SPOILERS AHEAD*
In the end, lots of his friends dies, and others leave with a boat heading to an island, away from him, and he stays in Britain living with a monk, being oath-bound with him.
And Taliesin, if I recall corectly, is a bard that played an important role in these Chronicles, and he and Derfel get to be friends. And I think that, when the songs mentions the grail, it doesn't especifically means the Holy Grail, but Arthur's objective of achieving peace.
