And what gets you here

Keeps you there

I watched you walk through the air

A part of me died

As tears rolled out of your eyes

And now the hardest part

Is the fall

And on the wounded knees

Watch you crawl

A part of me died

As tears rolled out your eyes

When I close my eyes

I still see you

Looking back at me

And I don't know what to do

Give in?

Don't you really want to?

General CommentTo me this song is about the guy leaving a girl he has lost feelings for
"What got you here (her love for him) keeps you there"
"I watched you walk through the air" love creates the feeling of walking through air and he witnessed her feeling this...
"The hardest part is the fall" he understands that the hardest part for her will be the fall (breakup)
"When I close my eyes I still see you lookin back at me and I don't know what to do"
He feels regret for what he's doing and doesnt know what to do...
With regards to the last part
"Give in?, do you really want to?"
He considers giving in and taking her back but questions if he really wants to.
All in all he is ending the relationship for whatever reasons but still cares for her and therefore can't fully commit to ending it.
    That's just my interpretation
    Great song either way
