There's moments like this,
Where all i feel is pain.
And all i can see are the stains I've made.

There's moments like this,
Where all I see are scars,
Which makes telling you the truth,
Twice as hard.

There's moments like this,
Where all I need is you,
I just want you, to say you love me too.

At times i feel,
Like I'm never good enough,
No matter how hard I try,
Things will still be tough.

I'm feeling kinda useless,
And also a little down.
I may need your help,
I need you to stick around.

I'm always failing,
And never pass.
Which makes me think this heartache,
Will always last.

There's moments like this,
Where I feel quite weak,
Im hiding the scars on my wrists,
As the tears fall down my cheak.

I need to get this over with,
I want this done now,
But you always seem to hold me back,
Keep me here somehow.

I want to feel loved,
I want someone to be proud,
I want someone to notice,
Before I have to scream out loud.

There's moments like this,
Where I know things will always be the same.
It's always my wish that something will change.

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.
