"Here I Am" as written by Lindy Robbins and Tom Leonard....
Can't we just confess
Everything we hoped for
Was leading up to this
Don't wanna let it slip away
Staring out the window
Suddenly i'm looking at an open door

Waited all of my life
On the verge of something
Never really knowing what it is
Stuck inside a long night
Till you broke through like daylight
Now i found my place to lay
Here i am
Oh here i am

All i ever was
Everything i held onto i lay down at your feet
Cos' baby this is me
There's nothing left to hide
There was something missing
All the spaces filled up when i let you in

I waited all of my life
On the verge of something
Never really knowing what it is
Stuck inside a long night
Till you broke through like daylight
Now i found my place to lay
Here i am
Oh here i am

All the walls are coming down
And the only thing that i've found
Is you
Is you

Waited all of my life
On the verge of something
Never really knowing what it is
Stuck inside a long night
Till you broke through like daylight
Now i found my place to lay
Yeah i found my place to lay
Here i am
Here i am
Here i am
Oh here i am

General CommentThis song is basically like every other song that has been released post Idol...pathetic. I look forward to Natalie releasing some of her original music because she has more talent then this song shows.

"Here I Am" is about finding the career of her dreams and announcing her arrival

General Comment^I actually disagree with you. I think this song is great! Yeah, it's a little cheesy but what do you expect from an Idol single? I actually think it's one of the best Idol singles I've ever heard...and trust me, I've heard a lot!

This song is about finally finding that one thing that makes you happy; that makes you feel complete.
