"Broken Again" as written by James Shannon Larkin, Cleon Lee Iii Richards, Tony Rombola and William Whitfield Crane....
There's my dreams
Bloody dyin', face down on the floor
I can't believe the emptiness
Struggle all alone by my own

Day by day I feel it slippin' away
(Away from me)
The more I stumble
The more I fade away, yeah

All the things you tried to hide
And every time you had to lie, I'm broken
Every smile I had to fake
And every time I want to break, I'm broken again

Nothin' seems to be just what I've become
With every ounce of faith I give
Still feel it all comin' undone

Day by day I feel you slippin' away
(Away from me)
The more I crumble
The more I need to breathe, yeah

All the things you tried to hide
And every time you had to lie, I'm broken
Every smile I had to fake
And every time I want to break, I'm broken

(You can't break me)
You can't break me
(You can't break me)
You can't break me

You can't break me
You can't break me
You can't break me, yeah

All the things you tried to hide
And every time you had to lie, I'm broken
Every smile I had to fake
And every time I want to break, I'm broken

All the things you tried to hide
And every time you had to lie, I'm broken
Every smile I had to fake
And every time I want to break, I'm broken

(You can't break me)
You can't break me
(You can't break me)
You can't break me

You can't break me
You can't break me
You can't break me, yeah

General CommentI think it is fairly obvious this song is about someone investing huge time and energy into a relationship that is going nowhere. She is hiding and lying to him and yet he continues to pour huge time into a broken ass relationship fighting it all the way. Been there done that.... get out early, it ain't worth it.

General CommentWhen I first heard this song it made me think of "Alice in Chains" there's a strong grunge sound to it very reminiscent of AIC, even the singing is similar, though this singer is easier to understand than AIC. It's a good song, not a great song, but good. The only thing that keeps this from being a great song is its lack of originality, all this has been done before, some girl doesn't like you for who you are, you have to fake it all and pretend all the time. I think after hearing renditions of this kind of song 2,000 times over we get the idea, although Another Animal still did a nice job on it, it's a fun sing along, mellow, slow, grungey kinda depressing song, but I love it.
